WHY ACCHS?
Since our founding, our mission has been to provide affordable education that is accessible to our local community. Our school remains focused on preparing practitioners who are committed to serving our local community and populations who need our medicine most.
The Academy of Chinese Culture and Health Sciences was established in 1982 by Master Wei Tsuei, making it the 3rd oldest Acupuncture school in the United States. As one of the few schools focused in Classical Chinese Medicine, we seek to honor and restore the roots of this medicine as it was meant to be practiced, as well as the Chinese culture that it comes from--this is why we are the Academy of Chinese Culture and Health Sciences.
WHY NOW?
At present, many of us are wondering what a new and different way of living might look like. Our alumni are using the tools they learned here to help heal others, whatever that means in person acupuncture, virtual herbal and guided acupressure sessions, teaching online, or something even more creative.
Chinese medicine has endured through thousands of years and seen the rise and fall of many governments. It has helped to stave off the effects of several pandemics. Though the times change, Chinese medicine continues to thrive as it has done for an uncountable number of generations!
Want to hear from students, faculty, and staff about what it feels like to be a student at ACCHS?
Join us on the 13th!
Just email admissions@acchs.edu to register.
See you there :)
