Bring your home-prepared Soul Food dishes to BVOH Ruth Williams Memorial Theater to compete in BBQ, GREENS, or DESSERT category and get a chance to win $250 cash prize for the winner in each category. Our Board of Directors will be the tasting judges. Bayview Opera House will be offering $25 stipends to 10 contestants in each category who sign up for a Soul Food Cook Off entry, to help cover your cost of preparation. SPREAD THE WORD ~ $250 cash prize to the winner in each category: BBQ, GREENS, or DESSERTLISTEN TO LIVE MUSIC by "Kynship" ~ Kynship, formed by the sons of Ruth WilliamsGeorge G Roc Williams and grandson, young rapper Kyrie Williams who will freestyle about his grandmother Ruth Williams.
