"Big Momma" moved to California from New Orleans in 1969 with dreams of opening a Cajun and Soul Food Restaurant. From a young age Big Momma learned to cook, although she scraped for attention to learn being the youngest of 24 children. Noterighty of Big Momma's delicious cuisines came about from many remote sampling in Oakland and throughout the Bay Area.
