"Big Momma" moved to California from New Orleans in 1969 with dreams of opening a Cajun and Soul Food Restaurant. From a young age Big Momma learned to cook, although she scraped for attention to learn being the youngest of 24 children. She resiliently chased her ambition to harness her craft until only premium notable plates were produced. The best way to describe Big Momma's delicious Soul Food is "powerful" and "bold". Noterighty of Big Momma's delicious cuisines came about from many remote sampling in Oakland and throughout the Bay Area.
