Join us for a Cruise Girl Geek Dinner on February 21st in San Francisco’s SOMA district!
Come listen to a panel of speakers talk about how we use data and machine learning to solve some of the complex issues within the autonomous space.
We’re building the world’s most advanced self-driving vehicles to safely connect people with the places, things, and experiences they care about.
As innovators in the space, we’re solving problems that have never been solved before in an industry that’s still in its infancy. At Cruise, we have a variety of technical teams with diverse skillsets and experience seamlessly working together to develop self-driving technology for level 4 and 5 autonomous vehicles–completely driverless.
Cruise Girl Geek Speakers:
Audrey Lawrence is the engineering manager of the Data Platform team at Cruise. This team focuses on building out a data lake for our many petabytes of data, helping empower teams throughout the company to accelerate development from leveraging our data collections. She is self proclaimed cat lady who also enjoys a good happy hour.
Jennifer Huang is a software engineer working on the Data Infrastructure team at Cruise. Her team builds the infrastructure to ingest and process the petabytes of data coming from the car and provides services for users throughout the company to gain insights from Cruise’s data and accelerate development. She earned her B.S. in Computer Science at UCLA. In her free time, she enjoys baking, traveling, and kickboxing.
Horus Wu is a software engineer on the Data Science team working on the design and build of Cruise’s core Machine Learning platform. With this platform, scientists and engineers develop and validate the models that allow Cruise’s AV to perceive and interpret the world. She loves kickboxing, cats, and building solutions for unsolved problems.
Beth Witten is Senior Technical Product Manager on the Ground Truth team at Cruise. Ground Truth is responsible for producing and managing the labeled data that is used to train and validate the Machine Learning models that run on our autonomous vehicles.
