We are excited to announce the return of Slinky Thing: The Music of Steely Dan. Their last show sold out, with people singing along outside the club.
Slinky Thing is a seven-piece band that has been playing the music of Steely Dan and Donald Fagen for the better part of ten years. Bandleader Bruce Linde says, “Just as jazz players play music from The Real Book, we play music from the Steely Dan and Fagen songbooks. We love and honor the songs but are not a note-for-note tribute band. As fun as these songs are to listen to, they’re even more fun to play!"
Players include Karla Downey (lead vocals, percussion), Bruce Linde (lead vocals, bass), Bill Sparks (sax), Frank India (drums), David Surovell (guitar, vocals), Brian Osborn (guitar), and Neal Roston (keyboards, vocals).

Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door. Children under 12 are free. Advance tickets are available at the link below, or you may purchase your tickets at the door the night of the show. Doors open one half hour before show time. We accept cash only at the door (ATMs are nearby). The Back Room is an all-ages, BYOB (for those 21+) space, dedicated to (mostly) acoustic music of all kinds. You are welcome to bring your own adult beverage with no additional corkage fee.
