Join us for a day of fish fun with games, activities, fish prints, crafts, Sustainable Seafood and more as we celebrate fishing in San Francisco Bay!

Event Details

Kids and adults can fish without a sport fishing license throughout California on September 2, 2017! Come out to the Crab Cove Fish Festival, where the East Bay Regional Park District will be there with everything you need to learn how to fish.

Lineup of events below:

10am-3pm: Mobile Fish Exhibit – drop by to see the fish of the East Bay!

11am-2pm: Behind the Scenes Aquarium Tour available at 11am, noon, and 1pm, meet at Crab Cove Visitor Center

10am-1pm: Fishing –Learn how to fish for an hour (gear provided). Spaces available every half hour; sign up at the Fishing Trailer (for adults and kids - it's Free Fishing Day in California)

11am & 1pm: Cooking Demonstration – we’ll prepare delicious Bay fish

2-3pm: Family Nature Fun – Fish Fun! - Explore the finned, gilled, glorious underwater world with games, crafts & more!

3-3:30pm: Fish Feeding – Find out what’s on the menu for the residents of the visitor center aquariums
