Art Beyond the Glass Oakland

The inaugural Art Beyond the Glass Oakland is taking place on Sunday, October 21! Founded in Los Angeles in November 2011, Art Beyond the Glass showcases bartender artistry inside and beyond the glass. At every ABTG event, everything from the cocktails to paintings, photography, and music is created by bartenders. Since its inception, ABTG has donated over $150,000 to arts nonprofits across the country.

Proceeds from ABTG Oakland will be donated to Creative Growth Art Center, an extraordinary Oakland-based nonprofit that provides studios, gallery space, and supplies to more than 150 artists with developmental, mental, and physical disabilities, who work in a wide array of media.

Art Beyond the Glass is taking place at Hello Stranger, located in the nightlife heart of Oakland above the 19th Street BART Station. Since opening in June 2018, Hello Stranger has had lines out the door every weekend and is gaining national attention with its high energy approach to craft cocktails.
