The longest running solo show in San Francisco history, “Not a Genuine Black Man” recounts Brian Copeland’s experiences growing up in the East Bay area, in what was then considered “one of the most racist suburbs in America.” In a monologue that is both humorous and poignant, Brian explores how our surroundings make us who we are.
